Footfall Counters Come To Northwich

NEWS

As a part of their objective to improve the town and make it Mid-Cheshire’s number one destination, Northwich Business Improvement District along with Cheshire West and Chester Council has helped facilitate the installation of footfall in the town centre.

The news came following the announcement that Northwich had been selected as one of 100 new towns to be accepted onto the Healthy High Streets Programme (HHSP).

Increasing footfall, creating jobs in Northwich, changing people’s perceptions of Northwich and creating jobs are the priorities for the HHSP scheme.

According to Visit Northwich, Northwich BID Officer Mark Henshaw stated “I’m thrilled that the installation of the footfall counters has begun; they will be extremely beneficial to our future offerings in terms of events and activities and will provide an intriguing insight into the behaviour of Northwich’s visitors”.
